Yolt Technology Services was founded at the end of 2019 to harness the power of open banking and unlock its benefits to businesses all over the world through a secure, user-friendly API connection. Over the past 24 months, we’ve grown from the first third-party provider ever to make a successful open banking API call to surpassing one billion API calls in 2020. Today, we’re thrilled to announce we’ve hit another milestone on our journey.
We have been granted our own PDS2 license from the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), so we can provide open banking services independently under our own YTS licence instead of under our shareholder ING’s – marking a significant step for the business.
The FCA license will further our ambition to provide businesses with cutting-edge open banking functionality including open banking payments (PIS) and Account Information Services (AIS).
YTS CBO Leon Muis comments “This is a significant milestone and shows just how far we’ve come since launching Yolt Technology Services into the UK market. Obtaining our own FCA licence will help us realise our ambition to bring the vast benefits of open banking to even more businesses.”
